Owner Cori Craciun opened Sticks and Stones Collection just two short years ago. Originally from Transylvania, Cori moved to Naples along with her sister. During that time, they opened a Romanian/Hungarian/Italian restaurant, but Cori felt the restaurant was more her sister’s passion than hers.
It was during a trip to Maine that Cori found her love of gemstones. She went into the local mines with a group of rock-hounds. Inside the mines, she discovered unique minerals and stones. She was so entranced by their beauty that she ended up bringing home 50 pounds of rocks.
She decided to mount one of the rocks onto a wood base to make a unique piece of art. Unfortunately, she couldn’t find the right wood to showcase the stone. This led Cori to researching wood and the rest is history.
Most of the pieces in Sticks and Stones Collection are put together by manufacturers but Cori polishes and refinishes each piece by hand, giving it her own personal flair. Every piece in her store is handpicked from quality materials to bring the beauty of nature into your home.
